The Prayer Shawl Ministry creates shawls and lap blankets, along with Baby Christening Blankets, which are blessed and available in the church rectory.  We meet the second Thursday of each month at 2:00 pm in the All Saints Room, weather permitting.  

It is almost 15 years since this ministry was started by Mary Catherine Heffelfinger. We have generously presented over 500 Shawls and Afghans to anyone would benefit from them. Our newest members of Queenship have received over 200 Baptismal Blankets. Thanks to Deacon Mike and Sr. Faustina for distributing them.

Over the years we have received monetary donations and skeins of 3 ply yarn. The ladies have also been purchasing yarn using their own funds. If anyone has yarn that they no longer need or don’t plan to use, we would welcome the donation.  Any color or weight is fine.  You may drop it off at the rectory.  If anyone is in need of a shawl, call the rectory.

We welcome anyone who would like to participate in this charitable function which enables us to provide blessed shawls and lapghans to anyone who requests them.
