By it, we create space to recognize the heaviness often carried during the season, as well as offering the hope that Jesus gives. This Blue Mass allows those of us suffering any kind of loss –– whether the loss of a person, a dream, finances, stability, health, or more enkindle hope. | 27 PREP - 1st -6th Grade Traditional

Society has become one of masking emotions that are sometimes considered negative. The Scriptures clearly acknowledge and remind us of God's awareness when His people go through times of pain, struggle, hardship, and tears. In fact, science, too, is affirming what we know by faith as studies confirm that burying our feelings are not good for us physically, socially, or spiritually –– Fr. Lamb, at the death of his sister, Sr. Sally, has recommended a book that offers hope in "Its ok that you're not ok" reminding us that putting on a smile without making space for the tears of life actually leads to more (and deeper) unhappiness.
